Food For Thought
What does food reveal about ourselves and the spaces we occupy? Beyond nourishment, what stories does it carry about labour, ecology, and the promises of development?
Join us for ‘Food For Thought’, a screening curated by Lost The Plot, featuring two regional short films, ‘Panha’ (Marathi) and ‘Virundhu’ (Tamil). Through satire and intimate storytelling, the films invite us to think about the politics of what arrives on our plates, and the lives, landscapes, and traditions shaped by changing ideas of progress.
The evening will conclude with a panel discussion with filmmakers Rishi Chandna and Shreya Katyayini, architect Tallulah D’Silva, and a tasting of Pez/Kanji with Jeff Kurien, who will share the story of this slowly disappearing Goan food tradition.
