Topic: Film Screening and Panel Discussion – Ayena (Mirror)
A screening of Ayena (Mirror), an intimate documentary following the journeys of acid attack survivors Ritu Saini and Faraha Khan as they navigate resilience, healing, friendship, and identity. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on survival, justice, and storytelling through cinema.

Topic: Film Screening and Discussion: Working Girls
A screening of Paromita Vohra’s Working Girls, a genre-defying documentary exploring the invisible labour that sustains society. Travelling across India, the film brings together stories of domestic workers, ASHA workers, farmers, mothers, dancers, organisers, and others whose work is often overlooked. The screening will be followed by a discussion on labour, gender, and visibility.

Topic: The Wilderness Within – Biodiversity Conversation & Mindful Gastronomy
A conversation on Goa’s remarkable biodiversity, ecological heritage, and the importance of conservation with environmentalist Claude Alvares and Dr Pradip Sarmokadam. The session will be followed by a mindful gastronomy experience with Chef Sai Sabnis, exploring Goa’s monsoon landscape through local, foraged ingredients, wild edibles, and indigenous plants.

A screening of Ancessao, written and directed by Manguirish Jagdish Bandodkar. The film explores the lonely existence of an elderly Goan woman whose isolation, guilt, and longing find expression through gossip and her involvement in the lives of others. The screening will be followed by a discussion on ageing, loneliness, and contemporary Goan cinema.
