Earthbound: Climate Stories from South Asia

Earthbound: Climate Stories from South Asia is an anthology of speculative and literary fiction that examines how climate change is reshaping everyday life across the region. Rooted in indigenous knowledge and literary imagination, these stories present futures that feel intimate, local, and unsettlingly near.

Tarana Reddy is a writer, game designer, and transmedia creator based in Goa. She is the co-writer and producer of B. Selvi & Daughters, an impact-driven short film on women in entrepreneurship, nominated for three Indian Critics’ Choice Awards. She has executive-produced internationally acclaimed films such as Nasir (2020) and Nirvana Inn (2019).

Her experience spans narrative design for mobile games, transmedia production, and immersive storytelling. She is currently developing Garden of Dreams, a South Asian solarpunk animated franchise, alongside work in immersive experiences and social-first media campaigns.

Prthvir Solanki is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. His recent work appears in Earthbound: Climate Stories from South Asia, contributing to the anthology’s exploration of climate narratives in the region.
