Social Media & Content Coordinator
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Coordinator to support our digital presence across platforms. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in arts and culture communications and grow through hands-on experience. You will work closely to help translate exhibitions and programmes into clear, engaging content for our online community.
Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience in social media, communications, or content creation (freshers with relevant internships can apply)
- Strong interest in art, culture, and contemporary conversations
- Good writing skills with attention to tone and clarity
- Familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.)
- Basic understanding of content formats (posts, reels, stories, captions)
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
- Preferably based in Goa
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and posting content for the Museum of Goa, Children’s Art Studio, and MOG Art Cafe
- Write simple, engaging captions and assist in developing content ideas
- Schedule posts and maintain content calendars under guidance
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers for content requirements
- Monitor comments and messages and share responses with the team when needed
- Help update the website with exhibitions, events, and announcements
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across digital platforms
- Support documentation of exhibitions and events through photos, videos, and on-ground assistance
- Engage warmly with visitors during events when required for content and documentation purposes
Details
- Working Hours: Tuesday – Sunday – 9:45 AM – 6:00 PM (Hours may vary depending on scheduled events; Mondays will be weekly off.)
- Probation Period: A mandatory probation period of 3 months
- Compensation: Salary will be determined by experience and skills
