Satyaki Gaonkar is a Goa-based photographer and self-taught artist who discovered his passion for photography in 2014 after receiving his first DSLR camera from his father. What began as artistic curiosity soon evolved into a journey of self-expression. While pursuing commercial assignments to support his creative ambitions, he was drawn to the emotional and narrative richness of weddings, leading to the founding of Wedding Stories by Kiii.

For over eight years, Satyaki has been dedicated to capturing timeless wedding moments, blending creativity with authenticity. Alongside photography, he is also a self-taught painter working with watercolours and acrylics, using both mediums to channel and share his creative energy. His practice reflects a deep sensitivity to storytelling and human emotion. He presented his work in the exhibition “Seen/Unseen.”
