Rohan Fernandes is a photographer and visual storyteller from Navelim, Goa, whose work captures compelling narratives across art, culture, news, and tourism. Rohan’s photography has been featured on the official platforms of GoPro and Fujifilm India.

His dedication to documenting Goa’s hinterland and everyday life earned him the State Photography Award from the Directorate of Information and Publicity, Goa, in both 2021 and 2024. Moving beyond the stereotypical imagery of beaches, his work highlights the vibrant culture, heritage, and lived experiences of local communities.
He has travelled extensively across India’s hinterlands, capturing authentic moments of daily life, and collaborated with Humans of Bombay on a project in Goa in 2018. Rohan Fernandes presented his work in the exhibition “Seen/Unseen.”
