Pattabi Raman is an independent photojournalist and documentary photographer based in Pondicherry, India. His work focuses on documenting socio-economic, cultural, and environmental issues.

He is a Human Rights Photography Fellow of the Magnum Foundation, New York, and has received several awards. He has been awarded multiple fellowships, including the Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, the Media Fellowship from the Centre for Science and Environment, the Panos South Asia Migrant Labour Media Fellowship, and the Sahapedia Frames Photography Grant (2018, 2020). He has exhibited his work in the Cycle Diaries exhibition.
