Mehak Bakshi is a visual storyteller whose practice is rooted in spontaneity and observation. Often working without a fixed plan, she captures everyday moments as they unfold, allowing intuition to guide her image-making.

Her work reflects a strong sensitivity to composition, colour, and mood, shaped by her background in art school. Drawing inspiration from nature and objects, she explores visual contrasts and evolving palettes to create layered and expressive images.

For Mehak, photography also serves as a tool for thinking and process, informing her paintings and storing ideas for future work. Each image becomes a reflection of her ongoing artistic journey. She has exhibited her work in the Cycle Diaries exhibition.
