Deepayan Khatua is a street and documentary photographer from Howrah, West Bengal, whose practice is rooted in capturing everyday life and human narratives. His journey began in Kolkata, where the city’s dynamic streets and cultural landscape shaped his approach to photography. Through his work, he focuses on documenting ordinary moments with a strong sense of storytelling, drawing from his experiences across different places and communities.His work has received national and international recognition, with features and awards across platforms such as 1x, Photocrowd, YouPic, 35 Awards, Roma Street, Retro Kolkata, Fotojajs, and Progressive Street. He has exhibited his work in the Cycle Diaries exhibition.
