Darpana Athale is a visual storyteller whose interdisciplinary practice spans photography, design, urban sketching, and poetry. Based between Pune and Goa, her work engages deeply with culture, heritage, and everyday life.Alongside her professional work, she actively documents life through photography, with a strong focus on heritage and lived experiences.

Her series, Working Hands of Goa, pays tribute to the individuals who shape the region’s daily life, from fishers and vendors to artisans, reflecting her sustained engagement with Goa’s cultural landscape. She is also the founder of Photo Walks Goa, an initiative that encourages participants to explore and document the region through photography.. She has exhibited her work in the Cycle Diaries exhibition.
