Brief info

Arjun Duvvuru is a Chennai-based cloud engineer and photographer whose practice focuses on documenting people, culture, and urban landscapes. Though his interest in photography began in his teenage years, he has been actively refining his craft since 2017 as a self-taught practitioner. His work draws inspiration from photographers such as Sir Donald McCullin, W. Eugene Smith, Bruno Barbey, Graciela Iturbide, Michael Kenna, and Ansel Adams.

His photography captures the everyday life and evolving urban fabric of Chennai, with an emphasis on finding the extraordinary within familiar surroundings.His ongoing project focuses on the landscapes of North Chennai, examining the intersections between industry, local communities, and the Kosasthalaiyar River. His work has been featured in Eyes of Madras exhibitions in 2019 and 2023, and he has also exhibited in the Cycle Diaries exhibition.
