Amey Simepurushkar is a Goa-based photographer and cinematographer with over a decade of experience in visual storytelling. Trained at the CMYK Academy in 2011, his practice blends documentary sensitivity with cinematic aesthetics, focusing on themes of culture, tradition, and the natural environment.

Amey has worked on short films, documentaries, and commercial projects that have received national and international recognition. He served as the Director of Photography for Wagro, which was officially selected at the Cannes Film Festival 2022, Raindance Film Festival, IDSFFK Kerala, and the Jaffna International Cinema Festival. For this work, he received the Best Cinematographer Award at the Goa State Film Festival. He also contributed to Asro, showcased at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in 2023. He presented his work in the exhibition “Seen/Unseen.”
