Akshay Chari is an artist from Canacona, who comes from a long line of Carpenters. This inspired him at a young age and his works today continue to refer to his family’s occupation. His works often surround the theme of the idea of tracing the generational advancements in carpentry through modernization or what he likes to call “technologically dependent”. Akshay Chari showcased his works at the exhibition ‘Into The Void’.
