Preview Night of Mangoes & Meanings: Histories, Ecologies and Cultural Imagination

We are so excited to invite you all to the preview night of ‘Mangoes & Meanings: Histories, Ecologies, and Cultural Imagination’.

This exhibition approaches the mango not just as a species, but as a system: biological, historical, and cultural. It asks how a fruit becomes a carrier of memory, a marker of seasonality, and a shared point of reference across generations. To engage with the mango is to encounter an object that is at once material and symbolic, rooted and restless, singular and endlessly varied.

Come join us in this celebration, kicking off with a Konkani Jazz Funk performance by Skiffle, presenting Singer Avila Fernandes, along with Vedant Saxena on the Guitar and Shania Vaz on the Keyboard!

The evening will be accompanied by specially curated cocktails by Hapusa Gin and Pipa Rum, along with delicious non-alcoholic squashes by Vnya!

We look forward to celebrating India’s favourite fruit with you!
