The Brave New World of Goan Writing & Art 2025, edited by Selma Carvalho, brings together perspectives from every corner of Goa’s living mosaic: new residents, diaspora Goans, and the steadfast locals who embody its everyday rhythms. The anthology spans Konkani and Portuguese works translated into English, queer narratives, and essays by museum curators, artists, art critics, environmentalists, heritage conservationists, screenwriters, researchers, and academics. Together, these voices deepen our understanding of Goa as a richly layered, ever-changing landscape of lives and imaginations.
