This section provides guidelines for a respectful and safe visit. It includes rules on handling artworks, maintaining distance, photography permissions, and hygiene practices. Additionally, it outlines smoking policies and other essential visitor conduct to ensure a positive experience.

Ticketing Policy

Ticketing starts at 10:00 am, and entry closes at 5:00 pm. It typically takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour to explore the entire museum.

Cloakroom

There isn't a designated cloakroom at the museum. However, visitors can leave their luggage or bags at the tables provided at the reception counter.

Photography and Recording

Visitors are permitted to take photos and videos for personal use within the museum. However, for any promotional videos or documentaries, prior permission from the museum authorities is required.

Accompanying Children

Our Museums welcome children and offer family-friendly exhibits and activities. visitors should always prioritize safety and respect for the museum's collections and other visitors while exploring with children. All children below the age of 18 must be accompanied by Parents or Guardians.

Pet Policy

Pets are prohibited within the museum premises to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors and to preserve the museum's collections and exhibits in optimal condition.

  • No touching: Refrain from touching the artwork to prevent potential damage or degradation.
  • Maintain distance: Keep a respectful distance from the artworks to ensure their safety and preservation.
  • No food or drink: Avoid bringing food or drinks near the artworks to prevent accidental spills or stains.
  • Follow photography rules: Adhere to designated photography guidelines to respect the artwork and the exhibition space.
  • Respectful behaviour: Show reverence for the artworks and the cultural significance they hold.
    Comply with staff instructions: Follow any instructions provided by staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
  • Educate children: Teach children about the importance of respecting artwork and following museum or gallery guidelines.
  • Proper storage: Ensure coats and baggage are stored appropriately to prevent accidental damage to the artwork.
  • Seek assistance when needed: Don't hesitate to ask for assistance from staff members if you have any questions or require help.
    Report damage promptly: If you notice any damage to the artwork, please report it promptly to staff members to address the issue effectively.

Food and Drinks

Consuming food during museum exploration is prohibited; visitors wishing to eat may do so at the café. However, visitors are permitted to bring water bottles.

Smoke-Free Spaces

Inside the museum, smoking is strictly prohibited for visitors, whereas they are permitted to smoke in designated outdoor areas.

Hygiene Practices for Visitors at the Museum

  • Wash Hands: Wash your hands thoroughly before and after your visit to the museum, especially after touching surfaces.
  • Cover Coughs and Sneezes: Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
  • Wear a Mask: Masks may be required depending on current health guidelines. Please wear a mask if it's mandated by the museum or local authorities.

Rule of access

Visitors are advised to purchase tickets before exploring the museum. Those only visiting the cafeteria or the Children's Art Studio for activities should inform the reception counter accordingly.
