Yes, photography is allowed at the Museum. Please remember to tag us in your social media posts!

Yes, the museum doubles up as a gallery, and all the works presented are for sale. Talk to Museum representatives about the pieces you like for price details.

For the safety of our guests, all children below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Guided tours of the Museum are charged separately. Our trained story tellers trained in the arts, and in storytelling, and speak multiple languages to ensure that you have the most memorable visit. Museum Director, Subodh Kerkar, gives special tours as well. We highly recommend you pre-book tours of your preference.

The Museum is wheelchair accessible, and our staff are trained to be accommodating of all our guest’s needs.

Visitors are welcome to walk directly into the shop, which is just inside the main entrance. No admission fee needed.

The Museum Cafe has a delicious and versatile menu with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. To reduce wastages, we recommend visitors bring water bottles for refills as opposed to buying water bottles at the Museum.

MOG is part of a much larger conversation about a land that has hosted several cultures in its rich history. The Museum should be experienced as a portal with which to take part in that conversation, rather than an encapsulation of the discussion.

MOG is a privately owned contemporary art Museum, founded and owned by Goan artist Subodh Kerkar.

The Museum relies on the patronage of the public, and in this sense, welcomes donations. However, any artwork accepted by the Museum must be approved by the Museum’s curatorial department.
