Children’s Art Studio (CAS)

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up” ~ Pablo Picasso

Children’s Art Studio (CAS) is an innovative space that provides an opportunity for children to explore their imagination and unleash their creativity through art bringing out the artist in them. The Museum of Goa believes that art is essential for the holistic growth of children. It is through art that they find joy, freedom, and fulfillment through ART. Every child is an artist and it is society’s responsibility to ensure that they remain artists.

At CAS, children can come and play, make art, create and have fun. The studio is located near the sculpture garden of MOG which makes it perfect for us to conduct a variety of art activities for children, amidst playing with sculptures and swings specially designed for them.

Art and play every day!

The activities that take place at CAS daily include painting your souvenir at the mog studio, a ‘clay station’, a pottery workshop, toy making, and many more. We have workshops twice a month, for example, a theatre workshop, a magic workshop, and up-cycling workshop, and creative writing/storytelling.

Meet the fantastical creatures at CAS!

CAS also includes several games such as Bhonpu – the crocodile snake (who carries secrets to friends), swings, paalkhi, rope ladder, Buddy see-saw, Swirling Robot, and a flight over the ocean waves at the VR station.

What WE can do for YOU

For school groups, MOG also offers guided tours of the museum. This also includes watching a documentary that explains all the artwork within the museum. Afterward, students will be taken to participate in the daily workshops that takes place at CAS.
