Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s in History/ Art/Museumology or any other liberal arts.
  • Well versed in written and oral communication in English
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client and Stakeholder management
  • Develop project strategies
  • Create project schedules
  • Monitor project progress, budget and timeline
  • Communicate with team members to ensure optimal strategy and efficiency

 

Duration- minimum 1 year

Remuneration- Rs. 3 Lakh per annum

2)PAID INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

 

MOG is India's largest privately owned arts space. It promotes Contemporary Art and provides a ground to nurture creative ideas. The MOG internship program provides the opportunity to work with renowned artist Dr. Subodh Kerkar and interact with many other artists, curators, collectors, art enthusiasts, students and academicians.

 

Duration: 3 months

Working Hours: 10 am to 6 pm (5 days per week)

Tasks: Interns will have hand on experience and will perform a variety of tasks including, but not strictly limited to:

  • Drafting and editing MOG materials like catalogues, social networking sites, online portals etc.
  • Graphics (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Typography, other design software
  • Photography, Video & Filmmaking
  • Escorting and guiding visitors on a tour of the Museum's current exhibitions
  • Coordinating and supervising workshops, lectures, art/theatre courses and other programs
  • Collaborating with artist Dr. Subodh Kerkar and various other in- house artists & curators in art projects

You will have access to the Museum’s production facilities during your off days to expand your own practice.

 

Who are we looking for?

Graduates/Post-graduates with a background in Art History, Fine Arts, Photography, Design, Theatre, or Museum Studies are preferable but we do welcome talented individuals from across different academic disciplines who exhibit keenness in arts.

*Note: The intern should have his/ her own laptop.

3) VOLUNTEERS

Calling all art enthusiasts and creative minds to volunteer at MOG to help us break social and cultural barriers and make art accessible to all.

This inclusive space for Art brings together artists, curators, collectors, art enthusiasts, educators, students and audiences from all walks of life. It hosts exhibitions, as well as workshops, residencies, lectures, talks and art courses. MOG intends to be a platform for contemporary Indian and international artists, building a cultural network for exchange and interaction.
