Museum of Goa will be holding a Decoupage workshop with Alpna Kale on the 13th and 14th of February, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm.
The intense two day workshop will help the participants to learn the crafting technique of Decoupage by making a decorative altered bottle, a candle, a wooden box with photo transfer, coasters, a tray, a pouch and a passport cover. All the materials for the workshop, will be provided.
Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, printed papers and other decorative elements. Each layer is sealed with varnishes until the "stuck on" appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work.
Alpna is a post graduate in commerce and had done an advanced diploma in multimedia, with an experience of five years in area of graphic design.
