I am a sea artist. I have created hundreds of works inspired by the ocean. Recently, I decided to go a step further and work with the ocean, making the ocean my collaborator.
I bought a large number of ceramic plates and pots, over a hundred years old from an antique dealer. Some were made in China, others in Europe.
I imagine that these must have arrived in Goa on Portuguese caravels.
I put the pot in an iron cage and kept it on the ocean floor for one year, where the ocean covered it with oysters.
In this way, the ocean has become my partner.
